Idaho driving log rules
In Idaho, a parent signs for the hours at the license office or the driving school. There is nothing to print at home.
In the state's own words
“Before a license can be issued to the applicant, a parent or legal guardian must sign and date a statement on the GDL Requirements Verification:”
“Over a period of time not less than six (6) months, the permittee shall accumulate at least fifty (50) hours of supervised driving time, ten (10) hours of which shall be during hours of darkness.”
Checked on the state's own website on October 18, 2026. Rules change, so confirm with your DMV before your appointment.
What this means for you
Idaho has no log form. When the license is issued, the parent signs a statement on the GDL Requirements Verification that the hours are done. ITD publishes no copy to print.
