Delaware driving log form
Delaware has its own driving log, Supervised Driving booklet. You fill in a row for each drive and turn it in.
In the state's own words
“Turn in your teen’s log when applying for your license.”
“a parent or guardian shall certify that the permit holder has completed 50 hours of driving time, which shall include 10 hours of nighttime driving.”
“This certification form shall be developed by the Division of Motor Vehicles, Department of Education and Department of Highway Safety and shall be signed by the parent or guardian and submitted to a Department of Education approved program at the end of this 6-month period.”
Checked on the state's own website on October 18, 2026. Rules change, so confirm with your DMV before your appointment.
What this means for you
Delaware's log has a row for each drive and a certification the parent signs. The DMV's Parent's Supervised Driving Program booklet says to turn in the log when the teen applies for the license. The Department of Education publishes the same log as a Word file.
