Terms of Use

The agreement between you and Weekly LLC for using GoTime.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Weekly LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), the developer of the GoTime – Student Driving Log application (the "App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

If you are between the ages of 14 and 17, your parent or legal guardian must read and agree to these Terms on your behalf before you use the App. By allowing a minor to use the App, the parent or guardian agrees to these Terms and accepts responsibility for the minor's use.

2. Eligibility

To use GoTime, you must:

  • Be at least 14 years of age, or have verifiable parental or guardian consent if between the ages of 14 and 17
  • Be a licensed or permitted student driver, a supervising driver, or a parent or guardian of a student driver
  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws regarding motor vehicle operation and driving permits

We do not knowingly permit children under the age of 14 to create accounts or use the App. If we become aware that a user is under 14 without appropriate parental consent, we will terminate that account.

3. Account Registration

To access the full features of GoTime, you must create an account. When registering, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain and promptly update your account information
  • Keep your login credentials confidential and not share your password with others
  • Notify us immediately at support@gotimelog.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account

You are solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Weekly LLC is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to maintain the security of your account credentials.

4. Permitted Use of the App

GoTime is designed to help student drivers and their families log, track, and manage supervised driving hours in preparation for obtaining a driver's license. You may use the App only for its intended personal, non-commercial purposes.

You agree that you will NOT:

  • Use the App for any commercial, resale, or revenue-generating purpose without our express written consent
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise derive the source code of the App
  • Use automated tools, bots, scrapers, or scripts to access or interact with the App
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems, servers, or networks connected to the App
  • Transmit any viruses, malware, or other harmful code through the App
  • Use the App in any manner that violates applicable federal, state, or local laws or regulations
  • Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity

5. Driving Safety Disclaimer

GoTime is a record-keeping and logging tool only. The App is not a substitute for professional driver's education, certified instructor supervision, or compliance with the specific graduated licensing laws of your state.

WEEKLY LLC MAKES NO REPRESENTATION THAT USE OF THIS APP GUARANTEES COMPLIANCE WITH ANY STATE'S GRADUATED DRIVER LICENSING (GDL) REQUIREMENTS. It is your sole responsibility to verify that your driving logs meet the requirements of your state's motor vehicle authority.

GoTime is designed to run in the background during supervised drives to record time and log data. The App should be configured before the drive begins. Users should not manually interact with the App in ways that distract from the safe operation of a vehicle.

6. Free Features and GoTime Pro

GoTime is a free download. The driving log is free: logging drives, tracking hours toward your state's requirement, sharing the log with supervisors, and exporting the GoTime log as a PDF or CSV. There is no limit on drives, drivers, or supervisors in the free version.

GoTime Pro. GoTime Pro is an optional paid upgrade that adds extra features, such as filling in your state's official driving log form, grading road test skills, maps of saved drive routes, and extra themes. The features included in GoTime Pro are described in the App and on our website, and may change over time.

Plans and prices. GoTime Pro is offered as a monthly subscription and as a one-year purchase. Current prices are shown in the App before you buy, and are in US dollars. GoTime Pro is sold in the United States.

  • Monthly subscription. The monthly plan renews automatically each month at the then-current price until you cancel. You can cancel at any time in your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings. To avoid the next charge, cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. When you cancel, GoTime Pro stays on until the end of the period you have paid for.
  • Free trial. The monthly plan may start with a free trial. The Apple App Store or Google Play decides who is eligible for it. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the subscription starts and you are charged the monthly price.
  • One-year purchase. The one-year plan is a single payment for twelve months of GoTime Pro. It does not renew automatically. When it ends, you can buy it again.

Payment and refunds. All purchases are made through the Apple App Store or Google Play, and are subject to their terms. Apple or Google takes the payment, and handles refund requests under its own policies. We do not receive your card or payment details.

Shared with the family. GoTime Pro belongs to the student driver's log. Each parent, guardian, and supervisor who shares that log can use GoTime Pro while it is active. If a supervisor is removed from the log, that supervisor no longer has GoTime Pro through it.

When GoTime Pro ends. If GoTime Pro ends, your driving log, your drives, and the free features stay available. The GoTime Pro features stop working until GoTime Pro is active again.

Price changes. We may change the price of GoTime Pro. A new price for a monthly subscription applies only from a renewal after we give you notice, as the Apple App Store or Google Play requires, and you may cancel before it applies.

Advertising. The App does not carry third-party ad networks or programmatic advertising. We may feature products from partners we have reviewed ourselves, shown as clearly labelled placements, and we may promote GoTime Pro in the App. We do not sell your data to advertisers.

7. User-Generated Content

The App allows you to create and store driving log entries, notes, and related data ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content. By using the App, you grant Weekly LLC a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, process, and display your User Content solely as necessary to provide and operate the App.

You represent and warrant that your User Content is accurate and that you have the right to submit it. You agree not to submit any User Content that is false, defamatory, or in violation of any third-party rights.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, features, functionality, design, code, graphics, trademarks, and other materials in the App are the exclusive property of Weekly LLC or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership of intellectual property to you. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works based on the App or its content without our express written permission.

9. Third-Party Services

The App integrates with third-party services including Google Firebase, Amplitude Analytics, Open-Meteo, RevenueCat, the Apple App Store, and Google Play. Your use of these services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. Weekly LLC is not responsible for the practices, availability, or content of any third-party service.

Links or references to third-party websites or services do not constitute an endorsement by Weekly LLC. You access any third-party service at your own risk.

10. Account Termination

We reserve the right to permanently terminate your account and access to the App, without prior notice or liability, if we determine in our sole discretion that you have:

  • Violated any provision of these Terms
  • Provided false or misleading information during registration
  • Engaged in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity in connection with the App
  • Used the App in a manner that could harm Weekly LLC, other users, or third parties

Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. We may, at our discretion, delete your account data following termination. If you believe your account was terminated in error, please contact us at support@gotimelog.com.

You may also terminate your account at any time through the app or by visiting our account deletion page.

11. Disclaimers of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WEEKLY LLC EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not warrant the accuracy or completeness of any information provided through the App, including weather data or driving log calculations.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL WEEKLY LLC, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, PERSONAL INJURY, OR PROPERTY DAMAGE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP.

In no event shall our total liability to you for all claims arising out of or related to these Terms or your use of the App exceed the greater of (a) the total amount you paid to Weekly LLC in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) fifty dollars ($50.00).

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability for certain types of damages. In such jurisdictions, our liability shall be limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Weekly LLC and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and licensors from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to: (a) your use of the App; (b) your User Content; (c) your violation of these Terms; or (d) your violation of any applicable law or the rights of a third party.

14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App that cannot be resolved informally shall be submitted to binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, except that either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction in North Carolina to prevent irreparable harm pending arbitration.

YOU AND WEEKLY LLC EACH WAIVE THE RIGHT TO A TRIAL BY JURY AND THE RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN CLASS ACTION LITIGATION. All arbitration proceedings shall be conducted in English on an individual basis.

15. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this document and may notify you through the App or via email. Your continued use of the App after any changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

We encourage you to review these Terms periodically. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the App.

16. Miscellaneous

Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Weekly LLC regarding your use of the App and supersede all prior agreements.

Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.

Assignment: You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations freely.
